Asstt. Professor- Journalism (against leave vacancy) /1 Post
Oualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at Master's degree level or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or Foreign University / recognized institution in Communication / Mass Communication / Journalism. Candidates besides fulfilling the above qualifications, should have cleared the eligibility test for lectures conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC. "NET" shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as lecturer for those with post-graduate degree. However. the candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG level teaching only.Desirable: Atleast 2 years of professional and teaching experience from a reputed organization with the latest equipments (HD) & software used by the journalist.

Qualification: Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a point scale wherever grading system is followed Master's degree level or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or Foreign University / recognized institution in Communication/Mass Communication/ Journalism. Candidates besides fulfilling the above qualification, should have cleared the eligibility test for lectures conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC. -NEI shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as lecturer for those with post-graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG level teaching only. Desirable: Atleast 2 years experience in Television Production and Teaching of Television. I The Candidate should have knowledge of Professional HD equipments.
Asst. Professor- Sound (against leave vacancy)/1 Post
Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at Master's degree level or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or Foreign University / recognized institution in Sound recording or M.A., Mass Communication with Sound Recording as a major paper with 55% marks. Candidates having Master Degree with 55% marks should have passed P.G. Course in Sound Recording from a reputed institute of atleast one year duration. "NET- shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as lecturer for those with post-graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG level teaching only. Sound recording professional experience may be considered equivalent to NET or Ph.D. by the Committee constituted by the University. Desirable: Minimum 2 years of teaching and professional experience in Sound Recording with latest equipment & software.
