Eligibility : The following categories of sportspersons will be considered as meritorious and will be eligible for appointment subject to fulfillment of other conditions laid down below: Sportspersons who have represented-(i) The country in an international competition (ii) A state in a national competition. (iii) Their universities in the inter-university tournaments conducted by the inter-university Sports Board. (iv) The State school teams in the national sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation. (v) Awardees of National Awards in physical efficiency under the national physical efficiency drive.
