Eligible   :

Qualification :

       Technical Assistant : 1st class B. Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and with one year full time professional qualification OR 1st class Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/ Mechanical / Electrical /Plastic Engineering/ Technology of at least 3 years full time duration.

For Senior Technical Officer : B.V.Sc. & AH with 55 % marks from a recognised university/institute along with registration with VCI OR MBBS with 55 % marks from a recognised university /institute along with registration with MCI.

                   Scientist : Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Agriculture (Agronomy)/Biotechnology (Environmental biotechnology)/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences(Proteomics / Enzymology)/Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Xray Crystallography)/Pharmacology/ Pharmacy OR M.E./M.Tech in relevant discipline.

                   Principal Scientist : Ph.D. in Chemistry / Chemical Sciences / Polymer Science/ Petroleum Technology/ Chemical Engineering with 3 years’ Post Doctoral Research/ Industry experience in polymer/ petroleum /natural gas/coal processing from a recognized institute/ organization OR PhD in Science / Engineering with 3 years’ Post Doctoral experience from a recognized institute/ organization in interacting with various agencies for successful technology dissemination and marketing.

Candidates have to pay Application fee of Rs.100/- through Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST,Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.
