Qualification : (i) M.A. with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale whenever grading system la %Rowed) in Social Sciences or Humanities subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) Resides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the Notional Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the HOC. CS1R or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in (a) (et (b) above. candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities subjects in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations. 2009. Mull be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NEE for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
Desirable : (i) UGC NET in Women Studies or Ph.D. in Women Studies. (ii) Research based publication pertaining to Woman or Gender related issue. (hi) Proficiency in Computer application.
