Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
For Inspector of Legal Metrology : Graduate of a recognised university in Science (With Physics as one of the subjects), Technology or Engineering OR Holds a recognised diploma in Engineering with three years experience in the field of Engineering in which the candidate has earned the diploma or in the field of Legal Metrology.
For Post Graduate Assistant Teacher : Master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University and passed Madhyamik or Higher Secondary Examination from any English Medium School of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education, or its equivalent examination with English as first language.
For Assistant Manager : A degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with Botany or Horticulture as one of the subject, or a Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of subject (preference being given to a person holding Honours Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of the subject).
For Sub-Editor in Hindi : An Honours degree from a recognised University and 3 (three) years experience as Sub-Editor or working Journalist in any media house of repute.
Nationality : Indian

Age Limit : As on 01.01.2015

For Inspector, Assistant Manager & Post Graduate Assistant Teacher : 32 years
For Sub-Editor : 35 years

Age Relaxation : candidates of West Bengal

SC/ST Candidates : 5 Years
BC Candidates : 3 Years
PWD Candidates : 10 Years

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Screening Test.

Application Fee : Candidate have to pay Rs.160/- and Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs. 5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only for payment through Bank counter (off-line payment). SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
